Zinnia - Benary's Giant Wine - (30x Seeds)

We grew Benary's Giant Wine a few years ago and I decided I missed her depth of colour in bouquets, so she's back! I'm also really looking forward to using her in my breeding work and seeing what she can add to one of my lines I'm working on.

A beautiful cut flower zinnia producing large blooms in a rich purple wine shade. This mix of single, semi-double and double flowers brings wonderful character to the garden, with every plant offering its own unique display while attracting bees and other beneficial pollinators.

Benary's Giant Wine adds richness to summer bouquets and pairs beautifully with most flowers. It also blends effortlessly with dahlias, cosmos, celosia, scabiosa and other favourite cut flowers, adding dramatic colour, texture and long-lasting beauty to every bunch.

Growing Information

Sow: Spring and summer after frost danger has passed.
Depth: Cover lightly (5 mm).
Germination: 7-14 days.
Spacing: 25-30 cm.
Conditions: Full sun, fertile well-drained soil.
Harvest: Pick regularly to encourage continuous flowering. Harvest when stems are firm (pass the wiggle test) and flowers are fully developed for the longest vase life.
