Seed sourced from a reputable supplier
A vibrant mix of rainbow Swiss Chard Silverbeet, producing colourful stems in reds, pinks, yellows, greens and soft creamy tones.
Grown here for our kitchen, this is a reliable, cut-and-come-again leafy green that provides ongoing harvests over many months.
Maturing in approximately 50–65 days, plants produce lush foliage to around 50 cm tall. Leaves are mild in flavour — perfect picked young for salads, or allowed to grow on for cooking, where they can be used much like spinach in sautés, soups and winter dishes. It also freezes well, making it a handy crop for preserving seasonal abundance or easy dinners are needed.
Both productive and decorative, rainbow chard adds colour and structure to garden beds and works beautifully as an edible border or mixed planting.
Easy to grow and forgiving, it performs well across a wide range of conditions. Best grown through the cooler months in warmer climates to avoid premature bolting.
