A gorgeous Imperial Antique Shades Pansy with an unmistakable old-fashioned, antique colour palette of soft cream, peach, blush, rose, burgundy, gold and white. Every flower brings its own beautiful combination of colours, making these particularly lovely scattered through the garden.
I grow these simply because I adore them and the colour they bring throughout the cooler months. They bring a soft, romantic feel to the beds when the garden is otherwise quieter. I haven't personally tried them as a cut flower yet, but they have been trialled for cut flower production, so I'm very interested to see what they can do here.

The flowers are also edible, making them beautiful for decorating cakes and desserts, garnishing dishes or adding a splash of colour to salads.

Depth: Cover lightly
Germination: Approx. 7-14 days
Spacing: 15-20 cm
Height: Approx. 15-25 cm
Conditions: Full sun to part shade, fertile, well-drained soil
Notes: Cool-season annual, tolerant of light frost. Plants thrive through the cooler months.
Harvest: Pick flowers for edible use, or allow stems to lengthen for cutting.
