A handy tool for flower breeders, hybridisers and seed savers. These lightweight, 17 x 23cm breathable organza drawstring bags have several uses in the garden.

Pollination Control

Cover selected flower buds before they open to keep unwanted pollinators away. Ideal for saving seed and making controlled crosses - I use them for my zinnia and dahlia breeding projects.

Seed & Crop Protection

Protect developing seed pods from birds and insects, and catch seed from pods that naturally split or scatter as they ripen. I use them on developing pods of our hippeastrum and clivia, and sometimes on special zinnia and dahlia crosses - when the parrots are around, they always seem to target the most exciting cross.

They can also be used around individual fruit, small fruit clusters or vegetables as a physical barrier against pests.

Reusable & Easy to Use

Breathable organza mesh allows air circulation, while the drawstring makes the bags easy to secure. Wash, dry and reuse season after season.
