A colourful, fast-growing mix of the most popular loose leaf lettuce varieties, producing a blend of red, green, and bronze-toned leaves.

Grown for reliable garden performance and continuous harvesting, this mix is ideal for home gardeners wanting an easy supply of fresh salad greens over an extended season.

Loose leaf types do not form tight heads, instead producing open, tender leaves that can be picked as needed. This makes them perfect as a cut-and-come-again crop, allowing repeated harvests from the same plants.

Maturing quickly in approximately 30–45 days, leaves harvested for salads and fresh eating, offering a mild, sweet flavour and soft texture.

Well suited to garden beds, pots, and mixed edible plantings, this mix also adds colour variation and texture contrast in the garden. 

Best grown in cooler months to prevent bolting in warm weather. Regular picking the outer leaves leaving the centre will encourages fresh, continuous growth and harvests. 

Growing Guide

Sowing: Autumn to spring

Depth: Sow 3–5 mm deep (light cover only)

Germination: 5–10 days

Spacing: 20–25 cm (or thin for baby leaf harvest)

Conditions: Full sun to part shade, moist well-drained soil

Notes: Cut-and-come-again crop. Frequent picking promotes ongoing production.

Harvest: Pick outer leaves regularly or harvest whole plants young for baby leaf use.
