Lizzie Lou is a miniature decorative dahlia bred by Florelie, a Victorian cut flower and dahlia specialist. A new release in 2025. The blooms are a mid-pink with a purple-tinted centre that photographs beautifully and sits well in arrangements. The stems are sturdy and the blooms are well attached.
We are looking forward to her second season.

š± Growing Information
Planting time: Once the soil at planting depth reaches about 15Ā°C and frost has passed. In south east Queensland that is typically August to November.
Planting depth: About 10cm, lying on its side with the eye facing up.
Position: Full sun. At least 6 hours of direct sun a day, but more is better.
Watering: Hold off until shoots are up unless the soil is very dry. There is no need to soak the tuber first.
Spacing: 30-60cm apart.
Notes: Pinch out the top of the centre shoot when the plant is 20-30cm tall for more stems to cut.
