A classic heirloom-style cauliflower, “Snowball,” produces small to medium, creamy white heads. This early type dates back to the 1800s and is valued for its reliability and traditional growing qualities.
An early-maturing variety, typically ready around 65–75 days from transplant, making it well suited to shorter cool-season windows and is a good option for South East Queensland winter growing.
Heads are firm, white and of excellent eating quality, with a manageable size that suits home gardens.
Grown here at Our Mountain Garden, this variety is the only one we grow it has proven to be a dependable performer, producing consistent, tasty heads year after year.
Perfect for fresh eating, steaming, roasting, soups or served raw with dips — also freezes a versatile staple for the cool-season garden.
