Phlox ‘Cherry Caramel’ is a variety I’ve grown for a few years now and absolutely love it, as it works beautifully in both warm and cool coloured bunches. This annual Phlox drummondii has wonderfully unusual colouring - warm, creamy caramel tones with distinctive vintage red wine centres that match beautifully with so many other blooms. This special phlox brings a rich, vintage-looking interest, something that looks dainty, delicate and different in a bouquet.
It grows to around 40-50 cm, producing masses of flowers on branching stems.
🏆 An Award-Winning Variety
Cherry Caramel was recognised as a Fleuroselect Approved Novelty in 2009, and was bred by Van Hemert & Co. It was selected as a tall cutting type, with fragrant flowers and very good vase life, making it a particularly useful variety for flower growers.
