We are unable to post to WA, NT, TAS or overseas.\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eSeed sourced from a specialist commercial supplier and packaged by us here at Our Mountain Garden.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eThis is one I'm really excited to be sharing with you, and adding more to my house garden as well.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eAtlantis is a beautiful perennial form of Statice (Limonium perezii), producing gorgeous deep blue-lavender flower heads on strong stems.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eIt is not commonly available in small quantities for the home gardener, so I was very happy to be able to source this commercial-quality seed and make it available in manageable packets.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eIt's a wonderful cut flower for both fresh and dried arrangements, and unlike the annual statice we often see, this one is a perennial.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eIt has a lovely history too - Limonium perezii is a species from the Canary Islands that has been known for well over 100 years, with selected forms such as 'Atlantis' developed for their useful flowering and cut-flower qualities.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eMine grows happily in full sun to part shade\/filtered light, and I particularly love using it to fill those spots in and around the house garden. It flowers for much of the year here and keeps producing those beautiful flower stems.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eAnd when I'm making bouquets, I love tucking the stems in flower or even before the buds break open in and around the front edge of the bouquet, where they spill out and give that lovely soft, delicate airy look.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eIt's also fantastic dried, so you can enjoy the flowers long after the fresh blooms have finished.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003e\u003cb\u003eGrowing Information\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cb style=\"font-size: 0.875rem;\"\u003eSowing time: \u003c\/b\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 0.875rem;\"\u003eSpring to summer (September-February)\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cb\u003eSowing method: \u003c\/b\u003eThe seed is quite fine, so sow it on the surface or cover only very lightly.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cb\u003eGermination: \u003c\/b\u003eKeep the seed mix evenly moist and give it plenty of light.
